A New Kind of Zombie
Before I start this one, I have to give you a little background. Years ago, the boys and I started incorporating zombies into our various games. The idea is simple. If you get killed (by a sword or gun or whatever), instead of dying, you turn into a zombie. At that point, you stagger around trying to suck brains out of people (put your hand on their head). Once you suck someone’s brain, you’re back to your regular self, and that person is a zombie.
This past weekend, my youngest son asked me to shoot him.
“What?” I asked. “Why?”
“Just shoot me!”
“Okay.” I shaped a gun with my hand and shot him.
“Ow!” He did a pretty good death scene, then stood up and held out his right hand with his palm toward my head.
“What are you doing?” I asked
He flexed his fingers and pantomimed holding something, then put his hand on his own head.
“Jedi Zombie.” He laughed. “I used the force to suck your brain!”
