Be careful what you eat.
Lately, the boys and I have been enjoying the occasional trip out to a local Chinese food restaurant.
The three of us split two meals, one safe thing (usually orange chicken), and one that’s a little riskier. It’s a great way for them expand their tastes, and I think it has been working. They’re both getting more and more adventurous with their eating.
The other day, my youngest son saw me dipping my dumpling in some sauce. I don’t know the sauce’s name, but it was so dark brown it was almost black.
He reached forward with his own dumpling, then stopped halfway there. “Wait. This isn’t the blood stuff, is it?”
Heh, heh, heh.
It’s been over a month since the Au Jus incident. I can’t believe he still remembers it.
Not a vampire?? Not N!!!!
