The All Important Pocket
A month or so ago, our three year old made an important discovery. I was in Maryland at the time, talking on the phone with his mom. I could hear him demanding the phone in the background. After a little while of trying to fight it, his mom acquiesced.
“Daddy!” He shouted. “Guess what?”
“What?”
“My underpants!”
“Yes?”
“They have a pocket!”
“Oh Yeah?”
“A pocket for my penis!”
I had no response.
“Isn’t that crazy?” He laughed.
“You know what?” I said, pretending to make a discovery, “Mine do too!”
“Cool!”
Yeah, guys get all the coolest stuff.
At least he did not ask me if I had one, too!!!

My son just discovered a “pocket” in his jammie pants tonight!!! Reaching his entire hand into it, he shouts, “Dad! LOOK! I have a pocket in my pants!!!” Dad said, ” That’s not a pocket, son. It’s for when you have to pee.” My son replies, “Thanks for the tip Dad.” He was smiling ear to ear : )
